We educate the public about the health problems caused by pollution in their neighborhoods and empower affected communities to take action to reduce pollution. We also do independent testing, work with various professionals (medical, engineering, scientists, professors, toxicologists, firms, etc..), crowdsource information, attend seminars, communicate with local officials and more. Are there any job openings at Fight For Zero?

Since formalizing in 2018, no one on the executive board or leadership team has taken a salary. There are no paid positions at Fight For Zero at this time. We are honored to have a community-driven organization and take pride in our grassroots efforts being 100% volunteer. Job openings will be posted as they become available. We do not have a store but have special promotions where items are sold for a limited time. Follow our social media to stay up to date on purchases that will support our work.

Our projects embrace creativity, community, science, and health. We encourage the community to get involved through social media sharing, attending our events, and donating time. We do not have an internship program, but we can sign volunteer hours. If you are interested in an unpaid internship to gain experience, we are open to discussing proposals.

To minimize our costs, we do not print and send materials. Feel free to print resources you may need, such as About Us, facts about our Fight For Zero campaign, and photos and stories of the people we empower.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering. We are always searching for motivated individuals to join our family! We have regional, county, and city groups across the state of Florida who are continuing to grow. Each county has a Director with an administrative team and the organization has a creative department with several teams; Fight For Zero media team, social media team, content team, marketing team, educational team, and more. If you are interested in becoming a part of our organization fill our the volunteer form.

Can you test my water, soil, or air?

Fight for Zero does not offer water testing services. What we are committed to is providing test kits when funding becomes available, utilizing our education to help collect water samples accurately and according to criteria, educating families on water quality and environmental issues, and assisting in approaching policymakers when sharing data and concerns. Fight for Zero does not have funding, resources, or full-time employees to take on water testing as a service. We are a nonprofit organization that relies on donors to help fund our research, outreach, and projects.

Our hope is to find lab partners to provide communities with the resources they need to take on these challenges. We work on empowering communities by teaching science and providing them with the resources they need to succeed in their quest to find answers and safeguard their families.
