All Children Have the Right to Grow Up in A Healthy Community

Sorry that this generation was caught up in our own doings mess of a plant too caught up in our doing to do something sorry we listend to pole who made excuses to do noting. we didn't realize how special the earth was, we didn't know what we had until it was deteriorated. We had the opportunity to enjoy the blue chip waters, low level seas, and clean air, purified water.... Our generation did something horrific, all for the money. We had no consideration for the planet left the land for the next 7 generations. Mos too us today don't even care about tomorrow. We are sorry we put profit over people. Nature as a credit card with no spending limit. Animals are becoming distinct. Our bees are on the verge of distinction. Our mind set was calling this destruction progress.  This generation is the foundation to saving the environment. We must teach our children be stuarts of the. Pollution mask just to go to school. The truth can't be avoided. We need to do more, this future we cannot  accept it. we must not refuse to correct this. We are asking all generations to help us fix this. We the people are the foundation and it is up to us to take care of this planet. It is our only home. We are leaving this nature to if we don't work together to save the environment we will be extinct.

Compost your waste: Don't have to toss all your garbage in the trash bin. Be more eco-friendly and cut your trash down that goes to landfills by starting a compost bin, or rather by recycling food and biodegradable nutrient back in to the earth. If you garden, compost enriches the sir with nutrients that grow the best vegetables, herbs, and fruit.

Reduce product packaging: This takes some practice, but within 6 months you can consciously start busying products with minimal to no packaging - such as bulk foods and loose produce. Seek out products with recycled packaging. Check the label for eco-friendly packaging or buy products packaged in cardboard.

Pass legislation that guarantees sufficient annual funding to land conservation programs each and every year.

Among the worst forms of plastic pollution is polystyrene foam (the stuff most of us call styrofoam), which never fully degrades. Call on state leaders to ban take-out foam cups and containers.

The people who take acton to clean ups and protect our rivers, lakes and streams need all the help they can get.

The National Academy of Sciences estimates that 50% of lifetime pesticide exposure occurs during the first five years of life. https://www.beyondpesticides.org/assets/media/documents/lawn/factsheets/Pesticide.children.dontmix.pdf

Children experience great exposures to toxic chemcilsi n their enviornment based on their body size. Pesticide.children.dontmix.pdf

Children's metabolic pathways are immature. In many cases, children are more vulnerable because they are less able to detoxify and excrete toxic substances than adults. https://www.who.int/ceh/capacity/Children_are_not_little_adults.pdf

Delicate developmental presses are easily disrupted while children are undergoing rapid growth and development. https://ehp.niehs.nih.gov/doi/10.1289/ehp358

Even minute exposures to toxic chemicals during these critical windows of development can lead to permanent injury to the brain, and other organ systems.

Because children have more years of life ahead of them, there is more time to develop disease than can be tirggered by early environmental exposures. https://www.who.int/ceh/risks/en/

Children need healthy environments to play and learn in, so that they may reach their full potential. As adults, we must ensure tha children are protected from environmental threats like toxic chemicals and air pollution.
